Bristol and area Mendip Hills AONB
Charterhouse is located right in the heart of the Mendip Hills AONB. Just a stone's throw from the M5 - less than three hours from London and Birmingham and only 30 minutes from Bristol.
From Churchill (which is accessible from the M5 at junction 21), follow the A368 east towards Blagdon and turn right to go up Burrington Coombe. Take the first right signposted to Charterhouse.
From Wells, take the B3135 at Green Ore and turn right on to the B3134. Follow this road past the Castle of Comfort to the turning on the left, signposted to Charterhouse.
